This page describes ForeLeaf’s text-message (SMS) programs: what messages we send, how you opt in, how often, and how to stop. ForeLeaf operates a home-services marketplace in the Kansas City metro. The first sections cover account and booking alerts for homeowners; Contractor recruiting texts is a separate program with its own consent.

How you opt in

You opt in on the booking form at tryforeleaf.com/book by entering your mobile number and checking the box below. The box is unchecked by default and is not required to create an account, book, or pay for any service. The same box, with the same words, is on your booking page (tryforeleaf.com/booking), where you can also turn texts on later or off at any time.

The opt-in, word for word

This is the exact checkbox and consent language shown on the booking form and on your booking page:

Texts go only to a number you have verified with a one-time code we text to it, so we know the number is yours. If you are signed in and that number is already verified on your account, texts start when you book; otherwise, enter the code on your booking page to start them. Each opt-in is recorded with the wording shown, the number, and the time.

What messages you’ll receive

Booking messages about your ForeLeaf service requests only: booking confirmations, “pro is on the way” alerts with a live tracking link, arrival notices, job-status updates (such as work started, completed, or cancelled), and payment receipts. No marketing or promotional content.

Message frequency, rates, and help

Frequency: message frequency varies based on your account activity and bookings.
Rates: message and data rates may apply, per your mobile carrier plan.
Opt out: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and no further messages.
Help: reply HELP for help, or email support@tryforeleaf.com.

Opting out of SMS will not close your ForeLeaf account, but we may be unable to send booking-status texts; rely on the in-app notification center instead.

We do not share or sell your mobile information. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share your number only with the service providers needed to deliver these messages (for example, our SMS carrier) and the pro matched to your booking. See our Privacy Policy.

Contractor recruiting texts

Program: ForeLeaf contractor recruiting. Who it’s for: contractors and tradespeople in the Kansas City metro who ask to hear from ForeLeaf about joining ForeLeaf as a pro. It is separate from the booking alerts above: agreeing to one does not sign you up for the other.

How you opt in

On the form at office.foreleaf.io/texts/join you enter your mobile number and check the box below. The box is unchecked by default, and agreeing is not a condition of signing up with ForeLeaf or of any purchase. Because anyone can type a number into a form, no recruiting texts are sent until you confirm by replying YES to a one-time confirmation text. Each request is recorded with the exact wording shown, the number, the IP address, and the time.

I agree to receive recurring text messages from ForeLeaf about joining ForeLeaf as a contractor and about job leads in my area, at the mobile number above. Messages may be sent using automated technology. Consent is not a condition of signing up or of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.
