How ForeLeaf uses SMS one-time passcodes to protect your account.
ForeLeaf offers multi-factor authentication (MFA / 2FA) as an optional way to secure your account. When enabled, we text you a one-time verification code to confirm it's you when you sign in or add your phone number. These are transactional security messages only — never marketing.
MFA is off by default. You turn it on yourself in your ForeLeaf account under Security → Two-factor authentication: you enter your own mobile number, and before any message is sent you see and agree to this disclosure:
Consent is explicit and never pre-checked — you actively enable MFA and enter your own number. We then text a code to confirm it.
STOP at any time. Help: reply HELP.We do not share or sell your mobile information. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing. We share your number only with the service providers needed to deliver these messages (for example, our SMS carrier).
