Privacy Policy

Effective: May 22, 2026  ·  Last updated: May 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how ForeLeaf (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the ForeLeaf mobile applications, the website at tryforeleaf.com, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to the data practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

1.2 Information collected automatically

1.3 Information from third parties

2. How we use information

3. SMS / text message consent (TCPA)

If you provide your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS messages from ForeLeaf related to your account, bookings, payments, and service updates. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of SMS will not terminate your ForeLeaf account but may prevent us from sending booking-status messages, in which case you should rely on the in-app notification center.

Marketing SMS (promotions, new-service announcements) is opt-in only and is sent only after a separate, affirmative consent during onboarding. You may revoke marketing-SMS consent at any time by replying STOP to any marketing message or by updating notification settings in the app.

4. How we share information

We share information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

We retain account information for as long as you have an active account, and for a reasonable period after account closure to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. Job records, payment records, and dispute records are typically retained for seven (7) years. Background-check results are retained per Checkr’s policy and applicable law. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see Section 7).

6. Security

We use industry-standard security controls including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields (tax-document numbers, password hashes), role-based access controls on internal systems, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

7. Your choices and rights

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

9. International users

ForeLeaf operates exclusively in the United States. The Service is intended for users within the United States. By using the Service from outside the U.S., you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least seven (7) days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after a change indicates acceptance.
